The presence of past in Paris

To fully understand this blogpost you'll need some music. So kindly go to youtube site and search Ballad Du Paris, which happened to be a soundtrack for our next movie.

Toghether we'll spend  a Midnight in Paris.

New city, new director? Not this time. Woody Allen proves that he can be our guide not only in Barcelona, but in Paris as well.

To start with, I recommend this luxurious hotel, where Gil and Inez stayed during their trip to Paris:

1.Hotel Le Bristol, rue du Faubourg St Honoré, Paris

If you've watched the movie, you probably remember that the whole fuss was about Gil meeting people from the past. Was the past better than the present? Was is wise to try messing with something that already happened once? You tell me! But now, let me remind you where this amazing 20s parties took place!

2. Quai de Bourbon, Ile St Louis, Paris

And if you want to eat something, but you care more about your fellow diners than anything else you might like this restaurant where, according to this movie, you can meet Ernest Hemingway!

3.Restaurant Polidor rue Monsieur le Prince, Paris

Paris is known for it's Eiffle Tower, and it is such a cliche that I just won't post any beautiful photos with this pile of iron in it. But What I definitely advise you to see is Pont Alexandre, where Gil and Gabrielle meet in the rain. The view is amazing and I'm almost sure that you will mark my words!

3. Pont Alexandre III (metro: Invalides) , Paris

If you will be in Paris, don't worry about the weather, because as Gil says: "Paris is the most beautiful in the rain".

Bon voyage!
See you nex time,

J.D.
