Find a bond between this place and ...James Bond

Find a bond between this place and ...James Bond

Last Sunday I had great pleasure to watch the newest James Bond movie. And I wasn't sure if I should post this, but hey... so many facts about Spectre leaked out, that I don't feel guilty. And to be honest , today i want to tell you, or show you to be more precise , a place which was used in first 10 or 15 minutes... so what it is not a sin, is it? I've yet to see a better movie than this one. Everything in it was magnificent , including film locations. So today , we're going to celebrate death, we're going to dance while wearing skull-masks. Today we're going to Mexico!

In the newest James Bond movie the first couple of scenes happen during  El Día de Muertos which is the public holiday in Mexico established to remember about people's relatives who's passed away. You may now imagine mourning and crying but not this time, and not in Mexico . During this holiday people gather around Plaza de la Constitución to dance and cheer while wearing masks, costumes and holding giant skeletons.

So this time will be different, as I won't follow all of the movie's locations. I just wanted to recommend the Day Of The Dead as it is such a different event from the one we have in Poland featuring sugar skulls, the favorite foods and beverages left as gifts at the graves of the departed.

This post was created to make you remember about this particular event, which is , in my opinion, a perfect way to spend a day in Mexico, if you happen to be there during this festivities .

Next time we are going to a perfect place to rest before this Christmas hectic period!
So stay tuned,

J.D.
